JOB PURPOSE: Monitor slot activities and daily machine repairs, provide quality customer service, and protect casino assets

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Continually circulates in assigned areas to ensure that all slot players are being serviced
• Watchful of errors which may show up on a machine, or machines played by “slot cheaters”
• Repairs to slot machines when needed
• Performs preventative maintenance on a daily basis
• Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES):

• Must be at least 21 years of age or older
• Knowledge of or ability to learn slot machine test codes, winning combinations for jackpots, selected codes for hopper fills, coin jams, and tilts
• Knowledge of or ability to learn to spot machine errors and “slot cheaters”
• Skill in using basic hand tools
• Skill in basic electronics
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Ability to handle a variety of customer requests and personalities
• Must be people oriented

REQUIRED EDUCATION OR COMBINATION OF EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must have basic electronic knowledge and skills
• Willing to train on slot operations

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Casino setting.Required shift work.Required to work weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Walking/standing/observing, 100%
• Prolonged exposure to cigarette smoke and noise
• Required to lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
